Captain Larry Conley and the Reel-Ality, sail out of Getaway Marina located near the north end of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. We fish the Boca Grande Pass (the tarpon capital of the world), the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte Harbor, the Pine Island Sound and the Matlacha Pass.

We target just about everything with fins! From tarpon, grouper, barracuda, mahi, redfish, shark, snappers, jacks, snook, permit, pompano, kingfish, Spanish mackerel and more. Migratory fish come through our fishing grounds at all times during the year. So if it swims in Florida waters… we go after it!

If big tarpon is what you’re after then from May to the end of July in Boca Grande Pass is where we will fish! You will see tarpon rolling on the surface 20 to 60 at a time from 80 lbs to 200 lbs! They hang around all over the south of Florida during the summer months so catching some on other trips is definitely a possibility.

Our boat, the Reel-Ality, is a 2004 28-foot True World Marine TE288 diesel powered walk around. Fully equipped with all the creature comforts, safety equipment and top of the line fishing gear to make your experience with us fun and enjoyable!

Our fishing charters are kid friendly! Kids just love catching kid-sized sharks in Charlotte Harbor! We take our time to show beginners how to land their first fish as well as we are experienced to show hard-core anglers how to land their next trophy catch!

If sightseeing on the ocean is something you are looking for or just want to have a calm day on the water with the ocean breeze then come with us on the calm sea conditions of the Gulf of Mexico. Our waters offer dolphin watching… and there are quite a lot of them to see and our area is home to so many different bird species… including bald eagles!
